Saint Bernadette of Lourdes relics to tour the U.S. beginning September 2026

Sacred relics of Saint. Bernadette of Lourdes will embark on a major yearlong U.S. tour from September 2026 through 2027 . Organized by the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, the 132-pound reliquary will visit nearly 140 locations—including churches, cathedrals, and shrines—beginning September 18, 2026, at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. Saint Bernadette of Lourdes:  (B. 1844- D. 1879) MIAMI (CNS) — The relics of St. Bernadette, the Marian visionary of Lourdes, France, will tour the United States for the first time. The visit will begin in South Florida at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Miami, with a morning welcome Mass April 7. Novena to support Migrants with Mother Cabrini: Nine days of prayer

The Migrants Novena is a way to be in communion with those who have migrated from their land of origin and seek safety and security in a new land. As Holy Mother Church calls us to welcome the stranger among us , we are also called to empathetically share in their plight. During this novena, we pray to our loving and merciful God, who told us from the beginning: “The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God” (Lev. 19:34); but we also pray for the intercession of Mother Frances Xavier Cabrini, the patron saint of immigrants.
