"Father Chris Alar, MIC," was ordained on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lenox, Mass., a location chosen out of necessity. Indeed, as expected, the number of attendees far exceeded the crowd capacity of the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy, administered by the Marians in nearby Stockbridge, Mass. He sure held my attention! This video is a little over an hour long but I could not pull myself away from watching all of it. Brunswick community mourns the death of our friend Mary Biette

BRUNSWICK, Maine --Mary Alvord Biette died on Thursday, May 5, at the age of 89, in Brunswick, Maine. August 6, 2013, Brunswick Garden Tour with Mary (right) is pictured with Pat Currier Mary was born on November 29, 1932, in Medford, Massachusetts, the daughter of Carl H. and Carmen (Buckley) Alvord, and spent her early life in Newton Centre. She worked at her father's drugstore alongside her siblings, and earned her bachelor's degree from Regis College in Weston. On October 6, 1956, she married Robert Biette at Sacred Heart Church in Newton Centre, and they soon moved to Reading, where they raised their family. When their children - David, Suzanne, Matthew, and Anthony - were young, the family took long car trips across the United States and Canada, seeing national parks and camping along the way. Mary bucked trends early, taking a job when her children were young to promote textile finishes across the country for several years. She began a long career at Endicott College (t
